My wheels are covered in brake dust and I wanted to try something that is supposedly really good at removing it. They are also powder coated but I've read that this should be safe for use with them.
Has anyone else used this before? How well does it work? Has anyone heard anything different about it being safe for use with powder coated wheels?

Works very well, adams wheel cleaner is my go to for heavily soiled wheels though. Tad cheaper, depends on what you can get locally.

Sonax is all I use. It stinks to high heaven but it does the job.
It works , just do not use in the sun or let it dry on the wheels, and in my experience it can leave spotty marks on the black painted brake rotor hubs.

I've used Sonax and it works well. I also tried the wheel cleaner from Griots Garage. I'm pretty sure a lot of the ingredients are the same since they have that same nasty smell. I think with both of them you still need some scrubbing but it is a lot less with these products.

I am apart of a small monthly detail mystery package subscription and we get discounts on partner companies so if anyone orders the sonax wheel cleaner you can use SONAX20 and get 20percent off they do it with the rag company and Adams too.

Sonax, Iron-x opti’s FerreX are all similar., designed to remove ferrous oxides like brake dust and industrial fallout.
Turns purple when working and smells like shit. Still need a wipe down especially if the wheel has tight spaces but most the brake dust is removed while rinsing.
I have and use FerreX And it works fantastic on wheels especially if ceramic coated. I still have to give a light wipe down on my non coated summer wheels.

It works great, a little expensive. The only complaint I have is the smell. We are all spoiled after using this cuz no agitation required.

I love it so much, I just bought a gallon for 85 bucks. The newer formula (wheel cleaner plus) works better than the previous (full effect).

I agree that the current formula is even better

I never knew it was the new formula that’s only one I have used. Where did you buy the gallon from ? The spray bottles I could refill them and save money 💰

I bought it from some reseller through Walmart. Vendor was OEM Part Haus.

Well damn. looks like the one I bought off amazon was the full effect. Do you recommend I return it and get the new one?
