Audi service has been kind of weak

Just got new tires put on my RS7.

This is how audi gives me my car back and of course the wheels have chips but that’s because the damn things are painted from repairs prior to me buying the car.

This is just crap service, they had my car for 10 days just to change four tires said they needed to special order the tires. I’m not at all impressed. Seems everything takes forever.

I just read a story on jalopnk about how 10s are all that matters in their surveys. Really screws then out of bonuses if they even get 9s. You should talk to the service manager or whoever first and see if they will do right or if they don't give a rats ass, flame them on their coveted survey

Repost this in the Audi Customer Experience section. To be honest I'm not surprised....These people care about money more than pride in work. They will only do damage control just enough to save face in the media...That's the business model with most companies nowadays unfortunately.
Cherish and support the ones that are not like this.

Wow thats insane, I would get on them about that, Niello in Sac curbed my wheel but fixed it and another wheel I did just to make up for it, but they also treated my car like crap so I started going to Rocklin dealer and its night and day difference for service, Im not sure if you have other dealerships near you but they shouldn't be treating your car like that.

I would rather have the car returned with dirty wheels than have the dealer run the car through the car wash and return it with swirls in the paint. I tape a note to my dashboard every time I bring the car in for service that says “Please do not take the car to the car wash. Thank you.”

Just seems like an unusually long time to order tires. They tell you a lead time before dropping off the car?

I always get new tires at Discount or Americas and search for ones with a Road Force Balancer (yes some have them). They charge extra but it’s worth it.

Looks like you got Conti’s. You get the DWS06? How do you like them so far?

Time to find a new dealer. I had 4 tires drop shipped from Tire Rack to mine. They call when they arrived, dropped car off, picked up a loaner. Car was ready that afternoon.

I agree that I don’t want them washing the car but it was all this white paste that they used to install the tires. It was just so disgusting they could have at least wiped the wheels down.

Car wheels are ugly as hell and seems owner is not in love with his car, people who treat car like this should ride horses and not drive cars

I just dropped off my wife's car at Stevens Creek Audi. The loaner they were about to put me in was absolutely filthy inside and out. I mean like caked on mud on the floor matts. Bird shit all over it, banana peels in the trunk

I had to say something and question how this was even acceptable. The swapped it out for a q5 that was marginally better.

This^ Although I would say your situation has more to do with your dealer. They always ask me if I want my car washed, and when I had my tired replaced they made sure to clean up the wheels afterward.

Heres my own service story. Had my car in for service with one tire low on air. Asked my dealers service department to inspect all four wheels and tires. I was told everything was fine and two days later I had two flat tires. When the car was bought back to the dealer they said sorry your tires are so bald they will not hold air and you need 4 new ones. The night i had the two flats there were two young kids in my car which in retrospect is really upsetting. I got a hold of the service manager who remembered me from years ago and he did the right thing to keep me from escalating. Since then the service department has been shaky at best with a combination of incompetence and greed................

Being a past audi service rep I can say 9s on a survey are bad you will get pulled in the office !! if you get to many low surveys you will get fired and your right there pay is hugely affected by the survey. if my wheels looked like that when i got my car back I would tell them that’s a 6 on the survey I bet they would Tske care of you ! I never let them wash my car I have seen how it’s done wash bucket is full of days old water and microfibers Are reused for days !
