Want to decode VIN to know #made of same color and interior ect.

Yeah so pretty much I've been seeing a bunch of people saying that their cars are like 1 of 7 or something like that so I'm curious about mine.

It's an early model 1999 Audi A6 Avant, pre-facelift, the engine is the 2.8 30v V6, in Andorra red, which I think is super rare, so I want to look it up.

You won't get that info from a VIN.

Since it is your car and you have the VIN you can find some sources that will show you all the PR codes that will give you all the option codes it was build with. But all the lists of people saying my car is 1 of 7 are done via contacting Audi and hopefully finding someone who knows and can find the information on how many were sold in X year with Y options and Z color. This is not information in any normal public database.

Theres a thread here on audizine called : production numbers. Post your vin there and someone from audi usa will answer and give you the numbers
