at i think its 5k for the car without the BBS wheels (some other stock wheels or somethin are included...) and without the seats (i think they're recaros or sparcos or somethin..)
i think im gona test drive it next week like monday

how much you think those BBS's are work alone, plus the seats...is it worth the extra 2 grand? i could probably just throw some black widened steelies on it with some fatty tires and look mean...and get some stock 80's gti rabbit recaros or somethin..

i'd pay the premium for the wheels. bbs RS's are a find, not to mention they are perfect for the mk2's. i was going to do a mk2 project as well, with a vr6T swap and everything, but after talking to a lot of people, found that the vr6 overweighed the form over function portion of the car. to have such a heavy engine in front really does get away from the sharp handling of the car. whatever, i still think it'd be cool...not to mention even a 1.8T engine swap into one of those still makes it blazing fast!

yea i was thinking about how the extra weight would make it handle...ill have to test drive it myself and see how the suspension is set up and whatnot...

nice! ide probably hook it up with a euro plate up front, looks good man
edit:since you have one, hows their overall driveablity? any major electronics problem to speak of? im wonder how the vr6 with a s/c is gona throw off the weight balance up front..
drove a vr6 mk2 (not s/c tho) and it handles great. make sure the engine is balnced, otherwise you'll be replacing you axles more often than you thought they might brake. especially if u got s/c. basically for the past 2 months, my car is the shop 30% or so. within past 6 months was towed twice. ignition switch, clutch cable went out, then clutch and shifter linkage. today had to replace the heater core. well, it is an old car...
