Guys - looking for some help from those that have installed the RS4 front bumper (esp on a B8). I would like to understand how much ground clearance (if any) it might vary from stock. If someone wouldn't mind measuring the front lip to ground, & their fender to ground, that would provide a good estimate of what I am seeking.
Also how much difficulty was there with this aftermarket fit? Any serious body modifications needed here for a solid fit?
Has anyone figured out a modification bracket to remount their fogs?
Pics are always welcome here as well...

i have it on my B8.5 and wouldn't say there is any significant difference in ground clearance. the shop that installed it said it needed a little "massaging" but it looks great and it has come off/put back on a couple times and still lines up very nicely

Don’t think there is really any difference in clearance but the lip does stick out more. Here’s a pic of mine (stock) and my fathers (rs4). We’re both lowered a little less than 2”

What’s your concern with the measurements? I would say that the new bumper hangs down less than a half info compared to the stock bumper. It would look odd if it hung down any lower.
I don’t have tape measure at the very moment, but here a pic. FTG in the front is 25.75 +\- .25 prob. Slightly skewed in this pic due to the angle and slope of the ground

Not an S4, but just this weekend fitted this bumper on my B8 avant....
Like any new body panel (especially plastic), it will need massaging also plan on various holes not to line up. But for a non-OEM bumper, I was VERY surprised how well everything lined up.
+1 on the foglights, want them back. I've been brainstorming...
It pokes out about 3cm more than standard lip. I'm on coilovers, so lip height is still too high, IMO [>_<]
Glad to see this bumper is getting popular.

Thanks guys. The reason for my question is I would like to lower my overall height maybe another 0.5". I am currently at 25.75" fender to ground and if I do drop it any further the custom CF lip will scrap like a mother. I have grown tired of continually repairing it, and looking for a front end that will accommodate a another .5" drop, without the headaches of always scraping on steep driveways. Welcome your recommendations here...

When you want to be low, but not scrape in certain undesirable driving conditions, air suspension would be your best bet.

I’d be happy to help. My car is at the shop welding up my exhaust. Once I get it back I will do some measuring for you.

I just installed mine and it just clears parking lot cement blocks. Installing HAS KW's soon so I'll have to be EXTRA careful.

Just wondering which companies that produce this are recommended? Any thoughts on which is best?
