I have finally found a way to take off the electronic parking brake on at least 2011 S4 model, others probably have same system, I bought my car with a missing key and the only thing I could do is put it in neutral and have it dragged onto the tow bed, after putting on the ground with some thinking, I found a way to disengage the parking brake and let it move around, you will need a 12 V car battery and 2 wires to connect from battery to socket on module, my module on the car has 2 wires that you can connect to the positive and negative terminal on the battery, I made a short youtube vid on this, let me know if you want the link. This may work on more than one model as well.

This is the semi well known ghetto way. Plenty of threads already exist on said subject

been researching for something like this for a while and never came across this “well known ghetto way”, always seen with taking caliper off and manually pushing it back in like a normal brake change, can’t do that when it’s engaged, not for me at least
