Plan on going in for service in a few weeks and don't want to be stuck with an Enterprise Chevy Aveo special! Anybody have experience with these So Cal dealerships? It's usually customary to make an appointment 2 weeks out to "guarantee" a loaner. I'm planning on going to Rusnak Pasadena. Suggestions?

Usually it’s just luck. If they have loaners available. Just ask for one and they give it to you. That’s my experience at least.

I can request a specific car out of the bunch and I usually get it. Never any S models though.

My experience with Mckenna Audi has been they never seem to have a loaner, always offered me a ride to and from home from the dealership.
So Coast Audi has always given me a current year model A4 without asking for it.

Audi Pacific in Torrance will only give out loaner if you don't mind waiting until end of the day for your service to be done. So getting a loaner to run errands for few hours and coming back to pick up own car is not possible.

Well, seems like the dealers out of state are much better than So Cal dealers based on replies so far. Sheesh, lucky you!

I recall when I had my E92 M3, I went to my local BMW dealer and as long as it was 2 weeks in advance, I would for sure get a loaner car and would get cars like 328i, 535i, X3, and 428i. In addition, if I dropped my car off on a Friday, I could keep the loaner until Monday unlimited miles which was always nice. I'm hoping to at least get an A4 loaner this time around.

I've heard crazy stories of people getting AMG, M and other performance models as loaner cars during service or warranty claims.

Ive had decent luck over at Keyes Audi... The earlier you show up the better the luck. Ive been given as high as a Q7, Q3, A4.

Circle Audi in Long Beach gave me a 2019 A5 Sportsback. But then again after they did the 55K service on my 2013 S5, the car overheated within 5 days. Could be bad luck. So I had my car towed to Pacific Audi and Pacific gave me 2018 Q5. 2 loaners in 1 week! lol

I agree with this, since I usually schedule my appointments around 8AM. I am always guaranteed a loaner. I usually drop it off friday morning hoping to keep loaner until Monday afternoon. HOwever if the dealership calls you to pick up the car and you don't do it within 24 hours then they charge you a rental fee. The rental fee for Circle Audi in Long Beach is $85/day whereas Pacific in Torrance is $35/day.

My personal experience with Audi Newport Beach: A4, A5, A6, Q3, and Q5 all current model years when I serviced my S4.
Pretty lenient on the return. Bring it in within a day of the car being done. You can schedule online to request a loaner and they will call you to confirm that same day.
My neighbor goes to South Coast Audi and consistently comes back with an A6.

Q7 would be nice to have! I think I'll try them out.

Wow, seems like they're generous too. I'm feeling a lot better about my options haha

A bit far for me, but thanks for the info. This gives me great perspective.

Meant to update this a while back, but I got a decent 2018 Q5. Pretty cool car, had it for the weekend. Solid dealer experience with Audi Pacific.

Currently driving a 2018 Q5 loaner from Audi Pacific. Maybe it’s the same one you had!

If it's a gray one left in dynamic mode it's a slim chance it was mine haha... Also for anyone else wondering they also had a lot of A3's and a A5 sport back from what I saw. One more thing, they do have the "Audi Pacific courtesy car" sticker on their loaners but it's placed in a low key spot not like other dealers that make you a mobile ad during your drive smh.

Audi South Coast: I've had A3, A4 (B8 and B9), Q5 and A6 before when I service my A6.
Latest visit earlier this month got B9 A4, I wanted A5 Sportback but the lady before me took it.
