New Front (wing) fender right side A6 2.7TTQ 04

Discovered rust on my top wheel arch right side, Paint shop recommended to change instead of sanding and painting the old one.
Also doing side skirts both sides at the same time. About 900$ [rolleyes]
Harch climate and lot of salt on the roads here in Norway, do you guys protect your fenders in any way?

Polishing the car and summer tires next week, cant`t wait[drive]

Depends on weather you want to keep your car pristine or just keep her going.
I have the rust worm inside the top of both front arches, but its probably 2 years from braking through to the surfaces you can see, so I plan on adding some rust stop treatment and seeing how it goes this summer.
There is clip on fender extenders like this

Lots of frequent cleaning, can't really recommend much else. Both of my front fenders are rotten, I've got a pair of new ones waiting for paint. I got a local shop to paint both front fenders and my S6 blades for 300, hopefully won't run into any issues putting them on.
