ok so one of my friends dads got a Vanquish S V12 a couple months ago. he has done some aftermarket stuff to his engine, i dont remember exactly what. his dad says he can feel a big difference, in when it was stock and after what he did to the car. so can anyone here take him?

this applies to all cars here, not just the B6 A4 (i had posted in here, because i always looking here). just make sure your car is street legal, and not a completely gutted drag car.

i am asking this just out of curiousity, no specific reason.

im gonna say no....520hp and 425lb-ft stock. at 4133lbs. unless you strap a missile on top of any audi...we might have a chance.

well seeing as how Caltech S4, and Avant S4, both put down approx. 470awhp and 450 awtq. in a 3600lb car and mike hood ran a 12.6 in charlie's 3600lb A4 which dyno'd at approx 300awhp...

i would guess that the stage 3 s4's will run an 11 second 1/4 ...

many of them will run 12.1-5 but not many (on these boards) are running 11's

well it will be very hard to get any Audi to play with that car. It's fast and it has aluminium and composit body structure. My friend bought one recently and I need to say that this car drives like a beast. I doubt that any car here could go against even stock VS V12 not to mention modded one.

My dad had a DB9 for a while (basically the same car, same engine and performance specs) and it was very fast. 0 - 60 on those cars are about 4.6 - 4.8 which is around the same of an E46 M3, so all those M3 killer A4's would be able to hang. The V12 doesn't exactly run out of breath though, so my guess is the faster you get going the harder it will try and pull though. They do sound amazing though, the noise made me wet myself.

a $225k car...astpn martin's fastest production car yet...and can go 200+mph. thats gona be tough...maybe they can beat the car in the 1/4 mile...but i'm sure that car would come back screaming by. the 2003 aston martin vanquish V12 ran 12.9 stock @ 112 mph...with average joe behind it...the S is bumped up 60hp and 25 tq more. so that is some tough competition...and you said he did some more work over stock to it? thats a hot ass car by the way. i'm willing to bet its an easy mid 12s car stock.

but not many would take it out.
i bet most of the stage 3 S4s can hang...give or take.

Believe me there are plenty of cars that wont have a problem beating his car and be under $50k. Just because you can pay $200k+ for a car doesn't make it quick. If he is here in socal have him bring it the track and he can find out for himself. Plus I hope he has some skill because someone with plenty of it will beat him with even a slower car.

Maybe a chipped RS6 w/ exhaust and a few other goodies might do the job? I thought I recall seeing a chipped RS6 being able to push out 500HP or more.

I have a race built A4 with a 2033cc engine, a GT35R that should be pushing around 500 whp(650 chp), is about 3000 lbs and geared for 190+ mph.

What track is he going to run at? There are no tracks open this weekend here in socal. So that means he would have to hit LACR on a weds or friday night or head up to Famosa in Bakersfield. If he is going to LACR he might be lucky to hit mid 12's.

Seriously I have a friend with a single turbo conversion Supra that will spank that thing. T57 turbo @ 16psi with about 450+RWHP.

Me? It ran 12.6 at LACR only running 18psi, 12.3 at Sac running part throttle during that run.

it doesn't matter if your car can beat his cause he's still driving a vanquish v12...it's like getting beat by a civic doesn't matter cause i'm still in an A4...to me that's the sickest car ever made next to the supra

Madrussian- If he has to buy a $250k car to get cooch then he has more issues then I want to know about.
