All I bought at the auto store today was an air filter, and that was a rip-off at $16.

Spark plugs were listed at $3.99 each (I'll pay about a buck a piece) so I said no thanks, then I got a price on the wires. There is no way I'm paying $300+ for a tuneup so me where to find a fair price on wires for my 2.8?

thanks

Thanks for the info, what I don't understand is how I could buy a set of NGK wires for my RX-7's for about $40 yet the same basic part is so costly for a different car. It's not like they are made of some wildly rare material.

oh well, I'll get some cheaper plugs to help with mileage and some wires in the future.

thanks

count the number of wires on your rx7 and their length. compare to the 2.8. There's most of your difference.
