First new to forum... and did try looking via search tool for info on APR Carbonio Intake but found nothing except what’s on Google...

Looking for some feedback for my first mod on a recent new arrival 2014 A6 3.0T.

Plan to perform a Stage 1 (APR) upgrade in near future, but looking to perform a DIY intake upgrade. So far narrowed down to Injen... but curious if APR has released or will release a new APR Carbonio for the C7.

Does anyone know if Carbonio/APR will release an intake for the C7 3.0 A6 soon?
Anyone have any real-world daily driver issues with just performing an intake upgrade without ECU tuning?

Thanks in advance for suggestions/feedback...

No issues upgrading intake before tune.

I highly doubt it on the Apr intake.

No issues with my Injen..just an increased supercharger whine sound. No tune yet..
Will have to consider drilling holes in the top of airbox or getting RS7 intake box once i get tuned. Though there's no evidence either will make any difference on top of the Injen high flow filter and intake tube.

Have the Injen here. Love the sound, though with deleted mufflers, still hard to hear over the exhaust on the inside. Running mine with no stock airbox either, its super loud on the outside at WOT. Intake was fine without a tune, but really livened up with a stage 2 tune w/pulley upgrade (I have EPL).

Appreciate the response one and all... Likely gonna dive in and get the Injen Intake... but curious about the RS7 box

@bonafyd - Seems you're not the only who thinks so... was hoping to keep everything kosher with an APR Intake and Stage 1 tune. Would appreciate feedback or any gotchas concerning the S6 Oem Trunk Spoiler and S6 Diffuser, Looking to add to my 2014 A6
