I'm planning on replacing my stocks/struts with these Bilsteins (https://www.ecstuning.com/b-bilstein-parts/shocks-struts-set-heavy-duty/b5a4hdlv/).

What springs should I get bearing in mind that I'm preserving the stock ride height?

I'm aware that the colored paint dot markings indicate different types of springs, but beyond that there's a difference between those for stock ride height, and those for lowered 'sport' suspension, I'm ignorant of the finer differences.

Theres nothing to retain stock height but coil-overs. I would go with H/R Sport it lowers it but still comfortable and able to pack it up and make road trips. I have a B5 S4 and B5 V6 both Bills and H/R Sport and go to Atlanta, Florida and Montreal often. Had 18's and now 17's no worries and no issues loaded up and no issues in snow. Comfortable yet sporty on trips and in NYC Pot hole ridden roads...

Thanks for the answer and advice man! I think I'm going to be getting these (https://www.ecstuning.com/b-h-and-r-parts/sport-springs-set/50396/), though maybe not through ECS; they charge $70 for shipping them although they come directly from the manufacturer.
