Does anyone know if there are any high performance cats for our cars (3.0T)? I'm getting the P0420 code so the bank 1 cat needs to be replaced and I don't really want to just buy a reg OEM cat if there are any other options.

Since you Dutch (right?) you might want to contact JM Tuning (dutch compagny)...

3.0t test pipes/cats are all the same. Wouldn't touch JHM cats with a 10 foot pole though...

The hunt continues for cats that are good quality and don't cost 1000 a piece like OEM

Not sure about aftermarket
But I'm in same boat ,I've seen p0420 And p0430
I want to confirm it's the cats breaking down and not just an exhaust leak first. Then I was going to hollow out "piggie pipes" oem cats if I find their bad.seems like a cheap alternative

Cat failures are common on 3.0t. Search in s4 forum or ask there for options.

Reason?

Reason?

They are known to fail. Hop on the B8 boards, much more information on the 3.0t than here.

Cool, thanks. I really liked the 034 HFC I had on my B5. It was perfect.

It's not the 3.0T but I have the APR downpipe assenbly and it came with a high-flow cat. Now I know you said not $1,000 but do they make a system for you as well? Just hit the site and was actually shocked to only see the 4.0.

Well, if you wish to weld new cats into your pipes, these are similar to the cats used by AMS & APR
