Im looking for an intake system for my 2014 S6. Anyone have any recommendations or experience between the REVO system vs the Rok Euro system? TIA

I greatly dislike the silicone connectors on the Revo. Use factory rs7 accordion hoses and tighten them down more if you go that way. The clamps are the same part number for both models and the size difference is like a quarter inch.

Roc euro has a LOT more sound and the install is like ten minutes

I have personally owned both of these and subsequently sold each of them. I love the sound of the Roc-Euro, hands down the best SOUNDING system on the market. In terms of performance, I've seen several concerns from folks that the open intake designs like the Roc-Euro if anything tend to lose a handful of HP. Even worse, their 'customer service' is the absolute worst that I've dealt with by far. I and many others have had to file credit card disputes to get back payment for items that were never received after MONTHS of phone calss and emails. I fully agree with jsmonet, get rid of the silicone adapters if you go with the Revo, and cinch down OEM RS7 accordion adapters. I think the Revo is just fine, but was a bit disappointed that at the end of the day it is an OEMRS7 airbox with a different filter. In the end, I decided to go with the AWE S-flo (version2), given that there is actual published data showing an increase in performance above the RS7 airbox. If you can stomach the price, the Eventuri intake also looks pretty awesome and has data to back up its performance as well. I chose the AWE given its data and that it costs half as much as the Eventuri.

How does the AWE sound? compared to the revo and the rok euro? also do you notice a performance decrease with the RokEuro?

AWE sounds pretty similar to the Revo. I honestly couldn't hear the turbos spool up with either of them like I could with the Roc-Euro. I think any performance increase/decrease with any intake is pretty small, and certainly I haven't personally noticed a change on my butt-dyno with any of the 3. If you're looking for a cool sound, the Roc Euro is fun, I can attest to that.
It would be helpful to have head-to-head numbers with the same car and multiple different intakes, but I've not seen any comparison like that. Again, I wouldn't expect much performance difference across the various intakes, so really depends on what you're looking for both visually and in terms of sound.
I loved the looks of the AWE, and was happy that the company backs up its performance with published testing results, unlike various others on the market today.

I too have the revo intake not sure it does anything value. Had to mod mine to stay in place
Fat from perfect and at 450 GBP it's expensive. Do yourself a favour mod your stock airbox woth a better filter and dremel some holes

I have Revo and I am happy with that. What I really love is that it’s like oem solid intake. I personally don’t like open intakes or some kind made in China plastic/carbon fiber alike gadgets. You can hear that too.

the revo IS an rs7 airbox with a revo filter and silicone hoses to step down from the rs7 box outlets to the s6 metal inlets

the whole open element sucking hot air thing is... much, much, much handled over and over again on the forums. It's really not a big deal and no intake is going to make a big difference when you aren't running a tune, making use of more air volume.

I'm currently running the s-flo 2, which sounds like the rs7 box/revo box/because it IS the rs7 box, because it's the same design. The only thing that makes the s-flo worth the install is if you're a big dork over CF like I am.

OP: don't overthink an intake. It's just a spot where air enters. focus more on making it greedier about its air (tune/turbos/hells yes).
