Hi folks,

Shopping for some wheels for my 2011 S4. I'm undecided between 19 or 20". It seems like most go with 19". I am lowered on H&R Sport Springs and don't want any rubbing issues. I would like the wheels to fit flush with the fender. My current wheels (Renn Motorsport) are 19" and seem to be tucked in too much for my liking ever since I lowered the car. I don't want to use any spacers. Please suggest wheel/tire size and offset that will meet my needs. Thanks.

Do a little bit of searching, you can find all sorts of fitments for 19" and 20" that don't rub.

Flush depends on width of wheel, but usually a 19x9.5 at ET 40 will be flush, or a 19x10 et 40.

I run a 20x9 et 35 on sport spings with no rubbing on a 245/35 but going to a 255/35 next week.

Then on 19s I run 19x8.5 et32 with 255/35 pss and dont rub.

If I were to spec a wheel to my ideal size it would be a 19x9.5 et40ish and run 265/35/19 I hate stretched tires.

Just curious why no spacers. Ive never ever had a issue running spacers.

19x9.5 et40 is flush. I will throw one more thing to think about into the mix though. Consider spoke design if you ever want to go bbk. I have m590s in the size I referenced and due to the concavity of the spoke design I’m very limited in bbk options I could run. Because if the width and offset a spacer would push the wheel out too much and isn’t an option. Stoptech is the only one that fits and even that is very very close. No rs5, no 19z, no Q5 etc.

19's look at home on a B8, but i prefer the look of 20s on a B8.5
check the wheel fitment thread and wait for jran76 to reply

20x9.5 et 37-40 255/30/20
19x9.5 et 40+/- 255/35/19
19x8.5 et 35-32 255/35/19
depends on the tire, alignment, etc but those are some popular setups. jran is your guy though!

Thanks guys, exactly the info I'm looking for. I should mention that I already have a Stoptech bbk with 380mm rotors. I also do not like tire stretch, so that must be taken into consideration. A 255 on a 9.5" wheel is way too narrow in my opinion.

This! I run 19x9.5 et 40 255/35/19. Currently on B12 kit but plan on swapping the Eibach springs that came with them for some H&R Sports. Shouldn't be an issue. I'm B8.5

it depends on the tire, but if you want to do 265's, 19x9.5et 45 is option
255 on an 8.5 is pretty square. i rubbed at et 30, but et 35 just wasn't quite aggresive enough IMO

I can’t find any decent wheels that fit over my ST-60. Running HRE ff15 20x9 et 40 right now. Clears brakes and decently flush. I think true true flush is going to be 19/20x9.5 et 37
