Couldn’t find much recent info while searching. Anybody buy the Audi Care Plus? It’s the 55k, 65k, and 75k services. $1290 is what I found for price on Audi website. Worth it?

If you're 100% sure you'll have the car through those intervals and if you're dsg, sure. The dsg is the biggest cost I think. Charger belt is in there too iirc

Yeah DSG. Most likely will keep it until at least 75k.

That’s a great price. How’d you manage that?

I have purchased them since the 15K service. To me makes it easier and save a few bucks.

In fact they stop at a certain mileage so I am trying to figure out how it works beyond that. I guess Audi doesn't expect you to keep your car that long! [wrench]

That sounds like outdated information. I'm pretty sure that the 55k and 65k service intervals are sold as a single package and the 75k and 85k are sold as another. The price should be around $800 if memory serves. It can literally be purchased the day of your service appointment so there's no need to prepay.

Yup you’re right. Just looked into it and I was looking at an old PDF. It’s actually called Audi Care Select now. Thanks for the heads up.

The 55-65 is not worth buying, the 75-85 is with the DSG.

I got an extension when I bought my car with 40k miles. Paid for the 45, 55, 65, and 75k services. I don't remember the price, but it was a little over $1000. 100% worth it if you are planning to keep the car. I just did my 55k service and the dealer shows what it WOULD have cost. That service alone was $625.

As someone else mentioned, not sure how it works after. I guess I'll have to start putting money aside just for oil changes, lol.

I literally just purchased Audi care select for the 55K and 65K service two weeks ago, and it was $769. The 55K service comprises spark plug and ribbed belt replacements, along with the standard maintenance items and inspections, and I would say it's worth the investment. :-)

The reason I said it wasn’t worth the money is because the supercharger belt replacement is easy and the belt is like $35, the spark plugs are also easy to replace and are like $72 in oil change costs about $65 each and all together a couple hours of my time. I also like fixing things sometimes.

I find them to be worth it, only because I have the DSG. I bought the 55/65 and then 75/85. That is the highest amount of mileage they offer the ACP for. The 55/65 was $800 and 75/85 was $940 if I remember correctly. I plan on keeping the car for a while so I thought that was the best route to go.

I'm planning to do the same for the same reasons plus my car is CPO and I figured if I do end up with a warranty claim it doesn't hurt to have records that show Audi has done all of the required service themselves.

I bought the 75/85k package for my 2011 back in July for $ 800, and then traded it in before using it, so I made the dealer give me an extra $ 800 on my trade to make the deal.

I would get a quote for the 55k and 65k services and then compare to Audi Care Plus. I bought the 55k+65k package for my RS5. The package was $1050 and the 55k service alone would have been $1300, so Audi Care got me a discount on the 55k service and the 65k service will essentially be free.
