Just throwing this out there for those of you that could stand to replace your ROC-EURO intake filter. Same brand/specs. Only difference is these are blue. We also have a few of the red (pink) filters as well. [up]

Finally, a way we can get replacement filters without waiting months to hear back from Roc-Euro. [headbang]

You do know there are plenty of filters out there, you don't need one from Roc

Can anyone please confirm if this filter on Amazon is the exact size of the ROC EURO filter. If so I'm in for this K&N for the price!!!!

How long have any of you gone with your Roc-Euro (or similar) filter before replacing it? Assuming you also clean/oil it every so often too (I think I've cleaned/oiled mine about once every year)...

Lol ur better off just letting them not buy because differnt brands. Gonna get 1000x questions like will it fit? And same size? Can we get part number? Most kids in this forum are so sheltered and unwilling to do anything themselves let alone figure out a filter replacement 1/10 on difficulty scale.

I can go out and measure. But I'm sure someone has already bought this and I just want to know if the filter is the same size as the Roc Euro. It appears and sounds like it is....This is why we have a forum so we can gain knowledge and information. I hope someone can just type "yes" its the same size or "no" its a different size filter.

You would’ve had your answer long ago if you would’ve just went out and measured it.

If you take proper care of it, you shouldn't ever need to replace it. I've cleaned mine twice and it's perfect.

I really really need to clean my Roc Euro air filter.......Don't you just clean it with dawn dish soap and water. Also what are you guys using to oil the filter with. Can I use K&N oil to oil up the filter. I heard to just oil it lightly. Thanks for the help in advance.

I just used the K&N Cleaning kit which included the oil, and it worked very well. Looked like new.

That's how I clean mine too. I asked about how often anyone replaces theirs because I don't see it being required and expected it would be "lifetime" of my ownership (as long as I cleaned it regularly).

Roc-Euro suggests replacement after 4-5 washes but I think you would be the better judge of that after you clean the intake and inspect how the filter is looking. As Vogz mentioned, he has had no issues with just cleaning it.

So that k&n universal replacement filter works. It's maybe a quarter inch longer all things considered but there's room to wiggle it in. The only thing to be aware of is that the 3.5 inch opening is a little tight for the roc euro pipe. You can still get it on but what I had to do was take that 3.5 insert out of the k&n filter inlet (there are 3 nestled rubber washers in the throat of it which makes it universal, and you're going to toss the 3" inlet and keep the 3.5" and 4" on) and force it onto the charge pipe first and then slide the filter on top of that.
