Haven't been on Audizine.com for a while. The last Audi S4 I owned was a 2014 Negaro. I sold it for a Porsche Cayenne S, then traded the Porsche Cayenne S for a BMW X3 but I really missed the Audi S4 so after searching around for a little while I found a 2016 Audi S4 from Audi of Huntsville (Alabama). They were awesome to deal with and they arranged to have the S4 shipped right to my driveway.

Although the stock S4 OEM Peelers are growing on me, I was really admiring the stock S5 OEM Speedline 3431 (Audi Part No. 8T0 601 025DB) wheels when I was car shopping and came across a clean S5 Cabriolet near me.

While I was tempted to get the S5, some rational thinking kicked in and led me back to getting another S4 since it's used as my daily and my family car. Only I was still wishing to have these S5 wheels on an S4. Thanks to Audizine and Audiworld I found a few threads that confirm the Stock S5 wheels will fit on a B8/B8.5 S4 although I couldn't find anyone running these S5 wheels (on their S4): Speedline 3431 (Audi Part No. 8T0-601-025DB).

The S5 Speedline 3431s got delivered via FedEx to me today and I drove straight from FedEx to the shop to have them installed.

I have to say I really like the rear fitment, but the front fitment has a little poke to it that I'd prefer was more recessed.

For now I'm loving these wheels.

So what do you think about how they look?

Have you seen anyone else running these somewhat rare S5 wheels on their S4?

These are a few other quick links for anyone researching questions about running S5 wheels on an S4.

Those looks great, very similar to the B7 RS4 wheels. That's a great OEM+ setup and will look fantastic lowered.

I have seen that wheel design on a few A5/S5 (never on an A4/S4) and in general I like the design. It's a nice hybrid between the B7 RS4 split 7-spoke and the B8 5-arm rotor with the triangular machined wedge at the end of the spoke. My only gripe is that they look a bit "busy" in the 19" size and would look a bit better in 20", but that's splitting hairs.

As others have mentioned, I'll bet this will look even better if you lower the car a bit.

I think the triangular machined wedge at the edge of the spoke make the wheel look more aggressive than the older style speedline wheels. They seem to have some nice concave to them as well.

This guy who is probably well known on the B8 S4 forum made a video of his winter wheel setup using S5 peelers and he was getting rubbing while lowered using 19x9 ET33s on 255/35/19s so although it may look better to get moar low, I'm probably going to stay stock height as long as I'm loving riding with these wheels on the car.

He made a video demonstrating how the set up was rubbing the inside of his wheel wells:

I think Eli was saying his vmrs were rubbing, not his winter setup

But those look great, lowered or not!

No kidding. Sweet. I have to say I really love looking at my S4 with the Audi OEM S5 Speedline 3431’s. I don’t think the one photo I posted does it justice. Next time it gets a bath I’ll have to take some more pics to post.

Curious how your fitment works out on a lowered setup.

I run a set of S5 wheels (two, actually) in 19x9 et33 sizing with 255/35-19 Continental DWS on one set, 255/35-19 Michelin PSS on the other, and am lowered to around 25-5/8" fender to ground ride height all around. I had major rubbing in the rear passenger corner where the tire was contacting the little nub / pinch weld in the rear fender just above where the bumper attaches. I hand filed it down and almost completely eliminated the rubbing. If I file it down a little farther I think the rubbing will go away. That being said, the rear subframe appears to be shifted such that the passenger side wheel sits closer to the fender than the drive side does, so the drive side does not rub at all.
The front tires will rub if I have the wheels turned and hit a bump.

My favorite wheels ever! I saw an s5 with these wheels nearby and was really tempted to walk up to the owner and throw money in her face for those wheels. What a great and unique looking wheel!
