I am debating between GMG ($76), iJDMtoy ($25), and Spec-D tuning ($55) tow hook plates. If anyone has suggestions on any of these OR others... please reply. Thanks

I got the spec D from ECS. Overall great product. Very sturdy and it fits flush with the bumper. Would recommend.
Just make sure to remove it before going into the car wash. Don’t make the same mistake I did. ☹️

Custom made for our car. You won't find something that sits more flush.

+1. Have this on my vehicle and it is wonderful. Built very well, too.

I agree with this. I went with Millworks and couldn't be happier about fitment.

I have this on my current b6. B8 comes Jan. I have ordered the replacement boot for the b8 so it only cost me 17 to make it work on the b8.
I have it on my 996tt, my 987 Boxster s, and my 993 vert.
It is the best one out there, has a quick release, and sits the most flush.
Usmillworks ftw

did you all just get the standard usmillworks holder or go w/ the lightened? is that worth the extra 20?

This one is by far the highest quality bracket I've seen. Also the most easy to install and adjust (especially with the quick release option). I have this on my S4 and my previous S4.

The lightened makes a 20oz part 16oz... AKA not worth it. Expecially on a 3800lb car.

thanks guys. my car has never and will never see an automatic car wash, so no worries there. Lots of good options it seems.

The quick release on the usmillworks one makes it real quick to take it on and off so going through a car wash, if u do that kind of thing, wouldnt be an issue. Take it off in 30 seconds. Put it back on in 1 minute.

I went with Spec-D tuning since it was significantly cheaper and I don't plan to remove the license plate. Will report back and let everyone know if it sucks or not

I think I will be purchasing the iJDMtoy one. It looks to be very flush with the bumper and very inexpensive. I hate when they stick out like 2 inches.

Anyone want to post pics of their tow hook plate setup? I'm afraid it will look weird with my license plate ez-pass

Not a fan of Tow Hook...throws off the entire symmetry of the car. My eye is drawn to the license plate instead of the grill.

I thought about this too PopTart but I didn't want to block my beautiful RS grille with a fugly orange license plate.

Spec-D tuning tow hook plate is holding up well after a few snowstorms, subzero temps, and heavy rain. Thumbs up from me

Interesting. I had the sand and mine sheared off on the highway after 4 days. Sent it back for a full refund. Was told the unit was defective.

What specifically are you looking for from a pic? Here's one I have handy with my US Millworks setup. I can get side and top pics if you want them.

For what it's worth, I've had my setup on the past two cars, probably 4 years or so, and it's held up well. The screws get a little thread rust and take some muscle to break them loose, otherwise I'm happy with it.
