Hi folks,

I'm looking for an all black, honeycomb-style grille for my car. ECS no longer sells them. Seems like a lot of China ones on eBay. Can anyone recommend a good quality grille? Looking to buy asap. Thanks.

All grilles comes from asia. So why not save that extra $100 and get them directly from Asia.

Good question. I didn't realize that they all came from Asia. Something to think about.

I had originally purchased one off ebay looking to save that $100. Most of the ones that you find on ebay for the $150 range don't have the ring holder molded into the grille itself, they mount on top of it using some screws and look terrible, and I returned mine for a refund as soon as I received it. The one from modbargains actually has the ring holder mounted inline flush with the grille and looks much better

Good to know. I'd rather spend the extra money for peace of mind alone. It would suck to order something from China, wait weeks for it to arrive and then have issues with it.

Modbargains site says ring holder isn't integrated and is a separate piece?

It is a separate piece but it is mounted in the grille rather than on top of it, I'll take a closeup of mine here in a bit to show you

not sure if they're gloss though. I got a gloss one from ECS, surprised they don't sell them anymore. If you do end up getting gloss ones and want to shine up your fog light grilles. Try Meguiars Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer. My grilles match the black gloss RS grille perfectly. It's a spray can so easy to get in all the crevices etc. Supposed to last 100 washes...we'll see. I taped them off and applied 3 coats

BK sells a B8 one. Just have to back out from that link. I just bought one as a result of this post after putting it off for forever. Long backorder of a month but doesn't bother me.
