2013 S6 Paint Code Sticker location

Does anyone know where the paint code sticker is on a 2013 S6? So frustrating......I googled it an is says look in the trunk under the spare tire cover.....I looked under the spare tire cover, took the wheel out, removed the plastic cover where it latches, took the carpet piece out, removed the stupid foam piece that holds the tire tool kit. Looked on the driver and rear door panel and under the hood. [headbang]

Anyone else know where it could be? Or is there a way to look up the exact color by vin???

Nope and nope......I'd gladly post pictures of my trunk well......but that would just be a wast of time. When I went to the website link I get an error message that says "failed to load" when I type in the VIN. Of course it would....WTF?!?!?

Thanks for your help thought. [:(]Last time I needed the color code I just called the service dept of the dealership and they looked it up for me. Kinda lame but it was easy.

You can probably just call them and give them the vin to get the paint code. What color car do you have?

Nice......so I'm not going crazy.......not yet anyway....lol. it's def not there on my car. I bought used....so it's possible it was removed. Thx

Sometimes it's below the spare tire, in the well.

You can look up your window sticker here: http://www.wikilender.com/ultimate-window-sticker-vin-decoder-tool/

It won't have the code, but it will list the actual paint name and you can look up the code.
