Like the title says, I'm going to be grabbing a set of 19s soon and I'm trying to decide on which H&R springs to go with.

This is my daily so Id like it to be a comfy ride but get rid of the wheel gap.

Show me your setup.

Thanks!

Old photos, but here is my previous car B8 S4 on H&R OE Sport Springs with various wheel+tire setups, all 19" with 255/35-19 tires:

There are probably 800 pictures of B8's on HR springs. There are probably dozens of threads already on this exact topic. Google will even net you tons of pics.

FYI: I had a B8 S4 on H&R OE springs and it rubbed quite a bit with the ECS Flush Kit Spacer combo, even cut out the rubber underneath which helped some. I then sold that B8 and got a B8.5 S4, put the same spring and spacer combo and never rub. I do have the adaptive suspension.. not sure if that is why or if its just car specific.

Thats interesting, I wonder what the diff is between the b8 and b8.5 suspention and springs.

It might depend on what the alignment settings are, and how far the subframe is shifted relative to the body between the two cars. In my case, both my B8 and now my B8.5 have the rear subframe apparently shifted toward the passenger side such that when running 255/35-19 tires at +33 offset with equal camber and toe settings, the rear driver side is rub free while the rear passenger side rubs like crazy. There is a visible difference too - the rear passenger wheel clearly sits farther out than the rear driver. I have no idea why they build these cars like this. I'm curious to know on which corner(s) was Seattle996 getting rubbing with his setup?

The B8.5 has a taller ride height than the B8....especially in the rear. The actual spring/swaybar specs vary by model yr and options.

H&R sports - Avant Garde wheels - 19" X 9.5" ET40 - running 265/35/19 Michelin PS4S's . Only rubs when I have at least 1 passenger in the back and I hit a bump going down hills, right where the bumper fascia connects to the wheel well (there's a bump that sticks out right there). I have not tried to correct yet...maybe next spring

Thanks for the feedback guys, I ordered the H&R OE Sport springs and a Stoptech front and rear brake kit.

Just need to decide on wheels.............
