Grill Opening Sizes, S-line vs. non S-line

Don't know if this has been asked before, but is the grill opening size different between the S-line and the non S-line? I ask because I wonder if it would be easier to just purchase one of the RS4 style grills for the non S-line and slip it in my S-line grill, or just buy the A6 grill and do the swap.

What? Like the size of the grille? They’re different sizes which is why they aren’t compatible

S-line is longer. You would have to chop up an s-line grille from the bottom to work along with the trim/surround. Too much work. You might as well build an RS6 mesh grille.
