I bought and just removed the roc euro intake (for sale with rs7 plate in the FS section for those interested.) I liked the whoosh noise but it was just too high for me personally. I am sure my wife would complain so I removed it after 10 mins after installing and trying it out.

Since my air box was out, I decided to add 2 more vents. I had the two on top already and but then added two in the underside. With the top two only, I have never heard the whoosh noise.

I took a quick drive and did WOT. I have never heard the whoosh blow off valve noise till now. Roc Euro is like a 10/10 whoosh noise. The whoosh noise is like a 4/10 compared to roc euro. I hear the turbo whine more in city driving and only hear the whoosh in WOT. The stock airbox does have K&N filter.

Try it out if you want more noise!

I drove some more. I’d say 3/10 vs 4/10 sound bit def some whooshing!

Thanks for the links, I'll get some ordered now along with a better filter. I'll attempt to get a before and after video of the improvement to share on this thread.
