issue with CD player making noise when car starts

So this all started a week back when my car ran out of gas. (The float sensor in the tank was hung up on something after the fuel pump was replaced, showing that i had gas when i didnt). Since then my cd player has been starting up when i start the car. I dont have it set to the cd player, but I still hear it actuating as if ejecting/taking in a CD. Does anyone know how to stop this?

Have you tried disconnecting the radio and plugging it back in? Hopefully nothing is jammed.

i never use the radio, so I dont know why having the car running out of gas would cause it to act up now.
