What the heck is this?

Anyone know what the heck this is? Or where it might have come from?

I was removing the drivers knee bolster when this fell down from somewhere above. No idea what it is, where it came from, or if it should be put back!! It's about 3/4" long and 1/4" wide.

Looks kind of like the piece at the bottom of the knee bolster that wedges into place at the back of the footwell. Though I think mine is plastic...

Might have to look here, the OBD plug is a little loose, seems like whatever it is though at least I don't really need to worry about it.
