High beam assist

I have a question, can i use lane assist camera for high beam assist ?!? and if it can, how?!? [wrench]

No you cant. the high beam assist camera is completely separate from the lane assist camera and use different systems to work. The HBA camera is not very expensive to buy used from fleabay

Whether it's necessary to change the whole rearview mirror or just insert the camera, and how it connects ? whether the wire must be wired to gateway or bcm ?

Though different platform, on our '17 4M Q7 we are able to enable active lane assist and high beam assistant via vag-com even without getting the driver's assistance package (active cruise control, active lane assist and high beam assist). It does have the camera above the rear view mirror for Audi Pre Sense so it seems like it's using the same camera for HBA (and lane assist). It may be the same on the C7/C7.5.

Yes on the later platform cars they have integrated the 2 cameras together into one.

If you can find the hba camera on its own then yes it can be fitted but its more hassle and highly unlikely you will see a HBAcamera on its own. Get a replacement mirror with the hba camera already fitted and wired up to its main plug.
You will need a CAN connection from the A pillar and some small amount of wiring changes at the mirror plug.
Not a difficult install to do

and my friend drive audi a7 and have hba.. but don't have mirror with camera ?!? [o_o]
