The Audi C7 platform has been one of our favorites since it hit the market. We have had our fair share of S6, S7, and RS7’s to play with and modify. For ourselves and our clients. It has a special place in our heart. It was good to see this S6 come into our shop for some strong but subtle upgrades.

First, we stated in the aesthetic department with some very important new wheels. It was decided that the HRE RS101 would be the wheel of choice with their floating faces with a nice lip behind them. HRE’s RS series has been a popular choice since its release, and one of our favorites on several of our builds. The HRE’s were finished in Brushed Titanium for the faces, and a classic polished finish for the lips. We wrapped the new wheels in Pirelli P-Zero (PZ4) rubber. With new wheels we saw the opportunity to highlight the beastly brakes, and painted them Brembo Red.

Moving on to some key performance additions we reached out to two of our favorite companies. AWE and GIAC. A Giac ECU tune was used to let the turbos breathe a little more, and wake the engine up. But just as important to compliment the engine tune is the GIAC TCU tune to wake the transmission up as well. This really matches the transmissions responsiveness with the engines new personality perfectly. It also takes out some gremlins from the factory transmissions programming. After the software portion was handled, we added a AWE Tuning Touring Edition exhaust. The new pipes gives the engine some bark, and a voice to let you know this saloon means business, if played with.

A very clean and simple build, with quality components. Perfect for the drive to the office, or fun weekend with family or friends.
