Hi there,

Last time I went to the Audi dealership for a 65K miles service, I also had a "Check Engine" light that turned out to be a breather issue and they replaced the breather and the turbo breather pipe.
I was wondering if it is possible they moved a hose or something that could lead to the leak I have on my coolant system?
Right now, the only place in SoCal I could find urgently G12/G12+ coolant was at the dealership.

I also notice that the hard plastic piece that holds the radiator protection (with the Audi symbol on it) has been broken.
Of course, I am not 100% sure but when I opened the hood, I noticed it right away... And since I cannot prove anything, I just have to keep it for me.

Well, have you ever had things like that happen (another breakdown due to a previous dealership repair on your car) and how did you deal with it?

I already had the case with another car (not in this counrty though), that is why I am asking.
But of course, when I came back to the mechanics to told him the coolant hose has been moved and before I saw it, I almost lost my engine on the freeway, he told me he didn't do it.

Thanks for reading and commenting.

There aren't any coolant hoses that get touched when replacing the PCV. There are lots of areas prone to coolant leaks on the 2.0T. I wouldn't blame the dealer just quite yet. Have you located where the leak is?

Thanks for your answer Homer!
I don't want to blame anyone, just wanted to know if this is possible on this car because I already had the case (other car, other country but still).
My mechanics told me it was a coolant sensor that was leaking and replaced it for $100 total.

Makes sense. The coolant flange on the back of the head is notorious for leaking (the sensor is located in that flange).
