4.5 hours labor for a shop to change the oil filter housing gaskets on a 2.0t - does that seem right? Just trying to compare estimates.

But replacing the gasket would be a waste of money. Have them replace the housing. It's likely warped.

It's about 3.5 according to Mitchell... my shop is 100/hr and we are located in DC by eastern market if you want us to take care of it for you.

Lol. I'm sure we could work something out. I mean, hell, I could always do it myself after hours and off the books. All depends on the OPs schedule.

I agree replace The whole thing. If is your car and own it do it. If you financing then don't replace housing lol.
