The previous owner of my car put in a HID kit w/ 10000K bulbs. These are too purple/ricer for my taste and provide little to no visibility-my foglights are actually brighter.

If I was going to want to put in something like 4-6000k would I have to get a new HID kit, or could I simply buy new bulbs.

If I can buy new HID bulbs, what is a good site online where I could purchase a bulb around the 4-6000K mark.

yeah im sure its a real kit, its just that 10000k does not emit as much usable light as a lower K would.

I looked at thexenonstore.com but they are only selling 300 dollar kits.

I do not need a new kit I just want to change the bulb I use.

What about this Nokya Replacement Bulb?

Is it a quality HID replacement bulb that will run with my kit perfectly? Is Nokya a quality brand?

I may be wrong, but if you already have functional ballasts and wiring, I don't think you need to go out and buy a whole new kit. Just get quality replacement bulbs that are in the heat range that you're looking for. That is, unless you have a lower quality kit and want to just swap it out for something superior.

I've got the phillips 4300k in my ride and they light up the road nicely.
