2016 A6 3.0 oil change instruction

I searched, but failed to find a write-up. Or I just plain failed.

Is there anything different than the basic jack / drain / unscrew oil filter housing & refill? I noticed that the oil filter was a different geometry that my B8 S4's, but does it just get assembled in the same manner?

That's pretty much it. If you want to make life easier you could get an oil extractor and not even have to jack up the car. Just make sure you replace both of the o-rings on the oil filter housing.

+1 I just started using an oil extractor and will never want to crawl under the car again. No mess no sore back.
