I am interested in this S7

The price seems really good.

My issue is the dealer. They are located around Chicago. I read some really bad reviews about this dealer.

I am not sure I sure buy the car due to the bad reviews from this dealer. I wanted some opinion, should I forget this and move on?

Thanks
J

Well, you don't have to see them again. There are 7-8 Chicagoland dealers and many independents. The car seems pretty much loaded. Screw the dealer and make the buy, this is transactional not relationship building...

You like the car? price? Go get it!

Agreed! Building retail relationships with dealers sucks, IMO. I had built a pretty good relationship with one of the dealers near me over three car purchases, but the sales lady that I had worked with for all of those cars left after I had purchased the third.

The purchase of my S6 (fourth) was from another salesperson and the experience generally sucked. Lots of pressure, misrepresentation, and bullshit. Needless to say I no longer feel any loyalty to the dealer and will shop nationally for my next car.

So much of that retail relationship depends on the salesperson, and unfortunately that seems to be an area of relatively high turnover.

A good relationship with the service department is another issue entirely, and I will continue to have my cars serviced at said dealer despite my most recent retail experience.

Couldn't agree more that the purchase of a car should be viewed as transactional only in general, unless of course you are close to the owner/management.

The salesman email me early telling me the vehicle is sold

Then an hour later. He calls me the car is still available.

I ask him, you told me the vehicle was sold and then he tells me no it was not sold there was a deposit on the car

I told hi that’s kind of unethical if someone had already put a deposit on the car but then he tells me a deposit doesn’t mean he can sell it to someone else.

There were also a lot of negative reviews on Jidd Motors. There were also some good reviews. So I don’t know.

Thanks

Thanks for everyone’s help

I finally got a new used S7 to replaced my Totaled S4. I hav always wanted a S6 or S7 when I first saw them.

I did not get the S7 from that crooked dealer but I did get a S7 from an dealer that is almost as crooked dealer than Jidd Motor

They wanted to charge me for the following

Internet fee
Detailing fee
Financing fee for using my own bank
Etching fee because they added on all their cars

Totaling almost 4K extra

I got them to waive all the fees but I had to use their finance. I will payoff the loan in 4 months. That is the only requirement.

That still sounds like BS, but a little better than the last dealer. Hopefully it's a kick ass car for you and you'll forget the whole process soon enough. Enjoy the car in good health and post up some pics when you get it.

I’m happy with the price. I wish it was a little lower but in the end not easy to find the perfect Used S7. I am loving it so far. I will definitely post some pic as soon as I can.
