Read and discuss it here. It's a 01.5 B5 using the Mika Tuned s/w. To be honest, these results, although quite sketchy, have me questioning my previous plans.

Pretty good power, not sure why he is worried about his pistons unless he is pushing very high boost just to get that power all the time.

well, I'm not sure about boost but I do know it's 100 oct according to his post. so for normal 93 oct, 270whp is probably more the norm. ATP's website mentions 23psi and 20+ psi a few times so who knows the actual boost he was using. the thread starter did make it sound as though it was off the shelf MIKA s/w though.

for me it comes down to price. not having to remove the mani is nice and all but the 2871 Elim is $1695. The real deal GT2871R is only $1200...Of course all the other needed components cost $$ as well.

how much do you guys think paul wang charges to fine tune the mika software?

and does he do nDBW?
i'd prefer to see a dyno on 93 octane or 91 if they had too. i hate race gas numbers....thats for the track. what about everyday driving? sure cars on race gas will show impressive numbers but what about the daily driver sw.
we need some B5 nDBW sw!

How would he fine tune a ndbw? With the dbw they just make adjustments with a program like the Lemmiwinks, this doesn't work on a ndbw.

you can make some adjustments via a afc like the apexi s-afc 2.

somone would have to basically scrap all of Mika's sw and write a file from scratch then, if I understand you right.

i'm wondering if this EIP guy tunes for nDBW. since he fine tuned the MIKA w/ Lemmi. wonder if he can do anything for nDBW?

why is somebody gonna get hurt?

they could make a file but the car would have to be there for actual dyno tuning. they worked on a ndbw a long time ago with t3/t4 setup longtime ago i am talking around 5 years ago.

Who? You must be thinking of the east coast EIP which isn't the same people as this EIP Racing in CA.
