Hey guys, in my search for a chip (2000 A4 1.8t) I have a few questions. I have read that APR is less "peaky" and brash than the GIAC (although claiming similiar numbers in their stage 1's), but I havent heard anyone talk about the O.CT chips by Stratmosphere.com. They dont have the highest numbers @195hp and 208lbs/tq but make their claims with a strong flat torque curve through the band. I want a chip that will pull and not die at 1000rpm to redline (although all dyno graphs I have seen it still does, go turbos!), any help would be great.

P.S. do any aftermarket Fronttak exhaust's come with a downpipe?

Thanks,
Andrew

All chip's will fall flat in the power band near redline with a k03. O.CT charges $700 for theirs, I say just get APR or GIAC for $500. Go GIAC if you want to get a k04 later on.

I am thinkin a REVO chip, or GIAC, APR. Is GIAC behing REVO? I would like the chip with the least amount of problems.

Well I don't think that REVO makes a chip for 2000's. Basically go with whichever is closer to your house, GIAC or APR.

revo isnt good for b5's.
