Hey Everyone!

Finally got into the S4 crowd!

I literally just traded the truck in today for the S4, hadn't hauled a single thing since I owned it, so took the plunge to my favorite car so far!

Here's a little background:

Long journey to the S4! Someday I will have an R8 in my arsenal, just a goal I set so I will achieve it.

So needless to say I'm pretty excited :)

Already have my annoying plates coming: "OW D S4" -> used to own 'OW D' but someone took that in the 2 years I had off... So 1 up'd 'em!

welcome aboard ...ive had mine 2010 S4 for 10 months and still enjoy walking away from my car .....I try not to look back at her...but fail all the time...

I've only put 15 miles on so far, and it's unbelievable how smooth it is..

I do have the extended warranty until 98k so I'm a little torn on a tune :(

I've had stage 2 on my B7 A4 before, but even that didn't compare to this pull, so it's already the boss of a car I've never had - so that's keeping me calm from tuning it already :) - at least for now...

So far I've messed with the VCDS a bit, had some luck with some things, and not so much with others. Wanted the battery gauge, but couldn't seem to get that to work. Got my LED's on full all the time though, they are just awesome to see.

Well did some VCDS stuff!

1.) Enabled the ambient lighting
2.) Removed amber corner lights
3.) Disabled Wink
4.) Enabled DRL to be the LED + Taillights all the time
5.) Window roll down/up with keyfob

I couldn't get the battery meter to show up, so I'll play with that some more when I'm ready.

Anyone used the aux ventilation?


- Reason I ask is I see a lot of people using it for when they 'conveniently' leave at 5:00 PM every single day. I work crazy hours, so when I'm finished working I'm done, I was wondering if it can be set to be active in another method aside from the timer?


I've googled some and I will for some more, the VCDS thread is always fun.


Also.. My buddy got in a wreck (not his fault) so his Mk5 Jetta is smoked. So... We are going Audi window shopping. He has had the itch for and S4, so me getting one is helping stir the pot.
