i have stock brakes on my b5 a4 1997 and was wondering on how take off my brake calipers

Remove the wheel and tire. Unbolt the two bolts holding the caliper on and pull it off. If you're just replacing brake pads you wont have to take of the brake fluid line but you'll need something to hold the caliper up so it isn't pulling against the line.

which ones? The fronts are easy. You just need an allen-head, I think 7mm, to undo the "guide pins" and maybe a couple other bolts. I can't remember. Make sure you have a shoelace or something to tie it to the upper control arms so the weight of the caliper isn't being supported by the brake line only. The rears are harder; you have a couple long bolts, a caliper carrier, the bitchy parking brake line (you need strong hands and a high pain threshold) and then you need a tool to push the piston back to where you can slide the pads under.
