01 awm. My car is having misfire issues. It runs fine for like 5minutes then on the testdrive it starts misfirig. Newplugs, Good coilpacks, new coilpack harness. At first it was cyl 1&2. I swapped out those injectors, then it moved to cyl 4 so i swapped cyl 3&4 injectors around. Now it's misfiring on cyl 1 only. I've run out of ideas... only codes are the misfire ones, no additional. non maf dependent.

This all started after you swapped you exhaust mani right? Could it be O2 related? Bad readings causing bad fuelling?

iirc it started before just went away right away. I swapped out the cam sensor with one off my old AEB head and I was able to drive the car to get some hortons. [up] hopefully this has been my issue.

Well I got misfires on cyl 1&4 now. Holy fuck. It did take awhile for them to return this time.

I'm monitoring the group 15&16 and I'm getting misfires everywhere.

I had these issues. It end up being my primary 02. It wasn't throwing any codes but I could watch the misfires using vagcom. It would run great until the exhaust got hit and it would cause my 02 to read rich so it was pulling fuel like crazy. Lambda would price over 25% once it started malfunctioning. I got a Bosche of amazon Prime for 80$ shipped. Hope this helps.

Is your coolant temperature reporting ambient on startup?

Thanks for the input guys. I did a bunch of goggling and read the maf could be the culprit and simply unplugging it can have no change to how it's running. So I threw in a new looking maf that came off the blown beaters engine and I haven't had a misfire yet. [emoji106]

Glad you got it solved so quickly. My issue was that my car was acting up but never threw a code so I had no idea where to start.

misfired turning onto my street going home. I was monitoring the blocks as I left and then It misfired 5 times on cyl 3. I picked up some CRC MAF cleaner.
