Thinking about upgrading....

I have been thinking about getting rid of my A4 and getting an B7 S4, but I have a couple questions about money, maybe you guys can give me a hand.

My current car is a 05 A4 1.8t quattro ultra loaded with 20,000 miles on it.

Lets say I owe about $16,000 on it. KBB trade in value is around $25,500.

Would it be worth it to get a S4 which will be in the low $50s now of just wait till I pay off my car? Im not sure how the whole thing works when you still owe money on the car.

What do you guys think?

I think what you owe in your car gets carried over. Try to sell your car, private sale. You will get more for it than trading it in.

So you'll have almost 10K in equity, you might as well use the money as a downpayment on the "R"S4 :)
