Just a Public Service Announcement.
I leased an S4 and had a horrible experience with the audi financial group. In essence I spent many hours on hold with them trying to have them resolve issues that no one seemed to know how to fix.
They sent me a letter asking me to have my car inspected for turn in but when I contacted the inspection company they did not have me in their database. By the time I was in their database I had 1 week to schedule an appointment and only one time was offered. I had to turn my car into the dealer without that inspection. The dealer thought that the car looked great but yet I was still charged wear and tear and had to pay thousands. My car was PERFECT. Had I known they would have charged me so much I would probably have bought the car. BUT they require you to commit to buying the car long before they are even able to arrange inspection.
Also, they messed up my taxes and paid taxes to the wrong municipality. I spent hours on the phone trying to fix this problem but I received was "someone in our tax department will contact you.". Guess what, they never did despite having 7 months to do so.
I am not sure how other lease customers feel but for a luxury brand I would expect much much more. There are many luxury car companies that make comparable cars. I just can't justify buying a car from a company that cares so little for their customers. Well former customer in my case.
The irony is that I was hoping to buy an S6 but the way they handled my S4 has enabled me to buy a Mercedes E63 AMG. So AudiZine, farewell and good luck. I hope others have not shared in my experience.
