wonder will the RS6 brake system fit on B6 A4Q directly?

If not, what else do I need to custom made to fit this BBK onto a B6 A4Q?

You do realize that the RS6 brakes are an 8pot setup, correct?

I would have to ask STaSIS to see if they've run the numbers to see if any non-RS6 master cylinder will be able to work. Otherwise, your stock MC may not be up the task.

What year/engine do you have?

Yup, I do realize the RS6 calipers are 8-pots setup.
And mine is a 2004 1.8Tq.
Do I need to change the RS6 hubs and wheel bearings also?
Thanks for your help, jeremy.

I wouldn't see why.

Ourselves and STaSIS think that you're going to have too much caliper for the OEM master cyl.

i would bet my B6 S4 setup would stop better too, despite his baller look.

Anything can be made to fit but it doesn't mean it will be optimized for the OEM master cyl, etc.

The RS6 brakes will work but you will have to swap out to the RS6 hubs and wheel bearings.

The RS4 brakes are a direct bolt up to the B6.

Both of these setups will require a wheel with a typical offset of ET29 (this is typical...all wheels vary)

The RS6 and RS4 brakes are extremely heavy (over 50 pounds a wheel) and there are no high quality track pad setups for them

I think Matrix has and sells a set that would suit the needs of a B6 much more.

We do indeed. Thanks much Greg.
And these (STaSIS) kits are currently 15% retail pricing until 12/29. Feel free to email or PM me for more info.

The RS6 8 piston is not only heavy but it is very inefficient as the rotors veining is of a poor design and the pads are about 30% smaller in area then Alcons. I could get my RS6 brakes to fade very easy with just a few hot laps. Try 125mph at turn one, Tunderhill, pedal goes to the floor, finds religon very quickly, then craps pants. OEM replacement pads and rotors ate very expensive as well.... cost for front rotors and pads are about $1600.00 not including labor. Poor rotor design, small pads, lack of choice in pads and expensive replacement cost = Alcons for the win, IMO.
