I'm interested. Have a few questions though. Did the downpipes pop a CEL light? Did it give a different sound to the exhaust? Did you feel any power difference I'm on GIAC tune that allows downpipes.

I have the GIAC software as well, they will for sure throw a code and GIAC will not tune it out for you. Can't vouch for the Uni pipes but DP's make a significant difference in my experience. I've had Milltek hatless, Milltek with cats and now the APR with cats.

Thanks for the quick response. Have you came up with a remedy for the light on or do you just ignore it? You have had all those DP on the same car?

I tried the Milltek Catless first but was a bit too loud for me since I daily my car, also the fumes for running no cats was rough on my wife. Then went to the high flow cat version which was great, still had the CEL though even with the spacers. Currently running the APR DP's which are nice but honestly liked the Milltek with HF cats the best.

I don't get it...i asked if these would fit an s8 which had the same engine.

They'll fit the S8 but you'll have to have extensions fabbed to make up for the difference in driveline length. Not a big deal at all most reputable shops should be able to do it.

Hey guys, had no idea that I didn't have email notifications on post updates off. Just sold them this week.

AFAIK, they do. Reason why is because they bolt up to the factory resonators. They are a full bolt-in setup.

Yes, sold. They will throw a CEL without a tune. In my experience new cars are so sensitive with cat efficiency that I just give up and get a tune with rear O2s off. I don't know if the spacers would have done it or not.
