I have a 01 a4 1.8t and wont start. I had a code for cmp signal out of range so i swapped the sensor out with a spare i had laying around and still had the code. ive cleared the codes and havent had any come back even after a couple of self checks. I checked for power and ground at the connector and had 5v at pin one, 10.5v at pin two, and the ground connection was secure. I did a resistance check from the ecu connector pin 86 to pin 2 for the cmp and got a reading of 1.5 ohms. I figure thats a good reading for the length of wire I was measuring. I am supposed to see 12v at pin 2. could this be an issue with my ecu or just an issue with wire somewhere. I bought the car this way and have been working on it trying to figure this out for a month now. any help would be greatly appreciated.

What codes are you getting on this, I also have an 01 A4 1.8TQ not starting, I replaced the Crankshaft position sensor plus a bunch of other things like fuel pump, coolant sensor, coil pack harness "all of them", tried some older coil packs, fuel injectors, replaced relays, fuses. These are the codes i'm getting.
