ok..., i have a 99, with the foglight in the headlight cluster, anyways, i just installed the 99.5+ fogs on my car, directly tapped it to the same fogs light wire...

so i basiclly have 2 sets of fog lights but it looks legit, anyways it was working fine but all of a sudden, it stopped working.

none of the foglight turns on, the fuse is still good, the rear fogs work, and the foglight button still lights up as if it was on,...

im gonig to check the wiring later but wat else could it be..? relay should be fine right if the button still lights up...? and how do i test if its a bad relay, and how much is a replacement?[headbang]

Pull out the relay and use a 9v battery and place it across pins 85 & 86(on the relay itself) (the 2 unlabled in the pic).....if you don't hear a click, then its bad. If you hear a click, use a DMM to check for conntinuity between pins 87 & 87a with the battery attached.....if you get a reading its good.

You'd want to check for continuity between terminals 30 and 87 when the coil is energized, not 87 and 87a.

You may have overloaded the circuit. The stock wiring is already inadequate and you have now doubled the load with the second set of fog lights. I'm surprized the fuse is still good, two pairs of 55w lights will draw over 15 amps...

freak dude, im sure it wasnt the wiring, and i checked the #"10" relay http://www.audiworld.com/tech/pix/foglight.gif ...
i even took it out and tested if the fogs still work, button still lights up as if the fogs were on, but theres no fog... arggg

wat other things could i try... car trouble is the worst feeling ever... [=(]
