are you on a stock DV? My stock 710 A gave out before I was chipped but I didn't notice until I put in a boost gauge and I was making 8 psi max and holding 10 in Hg of vacuum. I replaced it with a 710N and all is well now.

check your vacuum hoses and the infamous "L" hose...

My vote is for leaky vacuum line since you're in a warm climate area.

The stock ones get very brittle.
