i went on SHOKAN.COM and bought 2 doors bothe driver side front and rear door. cuz i was hit and run a month back. anyway i paid $700 for 2 shells and 2 door frames.

i should have taken pics of the place it was in the middle of the woods some where in hicksville NEW YORK, i had to drive very slowly over a CREAKY WOODEN BRIDGE (so scared) these audis were EVERYWHERE!!! it was insane i have seen junkyards but GOD DAMN AUDIS EVERYWHERE! in a billion pieces it was AUDI HEAVEN! a two hour drive well worth it.

is it gonna be hard to swap the window and the interior trim from my old door to the new shell and frame? i plan on doing that this weekend, if any of you guys know how hard this would be on scale of 1-10 let me know. here are some pics of the doors i was told they were gonna be perfect but the front one has marks but no dents thank god.

PICS!!!

it shoudl be fairly easy to swap out the trim. I had to take my door apart when someone threw up on it and vomit went into the window sill.

i just watched someone doin this today. it didnt appear hard the only thing he metioned is that u have to realign it bc it doesnt just go back in place the upper frame of the window will prob not be right the first time u try to shut ur door but im sure ull be fine

i would say its a 3.5-4 out of ten. i have done it on other cars and it does not seem to be hard. Have someone scan the bently manual for those couple pages on how to replace a window. that way you can follow it step by step.

lol weekend event with the girl HAHA, yo the place is nuts dude! call them up and have them check for the parts you need, then if they have it go there and just take it off the cars, theres about 800-1000 audis that are un supervised, its cold as fuck there so their all inside. you can be out there for hours just taking parts off cars.

rich im probably gonna do this on sunday, since i wanna get my windows tinted before christmas (my present from my g/f/ also i just got a remote starter so thats going in soon)
