The cap for my headlight washer recently flew off. I baught the cap and had it painted however the entire washer jet is broken. I'm trying to figure out a way to disengage the washer so the cap will not pop up. I'm not sure if the washer jet pops up by water pressure or if it's an electric motor. If it's water pressure would it be possible to stop the pressure so it doesn't make it pop up ?? . This is going to be a temporary fix untill i can buy the entire jet. Any Ideas or help would be great

The headlight washers are pushed up by fluid pressure in the assembly when the motor pushes the washer fluid.

You can only disengage one washer by removing it's fluid line. You will have to plug or crimp its line to prevent the fluid from leaking out.
