Brake squeal on S6

Hi all-
I know that some brake pads have a metal strip built in which hits the discs when the pad is worn down. I am curious if anyone else has heard this on their Audis. I am on my 4th Audi and have never heard brake squealing like this. It's not terrible, and it is only with light low speed braking. Lastly, I have only put 1500 miles on it since buying it CPO in October (at which point it should have plenty of pad and rotor life per the CPO). The only thing I have not been able to do is get up som speed and nail the brakes a few times to "re-seat" them as some people advise. Any feedback is appreciated.

A few hard stops from 60-10 without fully stopping, if that doesn't work, You could remove the pads and clean up the back of them and apply some copper grease to the area that is in contact with the Pistons.

After that I would looking at new pads and/or rotors

The S6's OE pads are known for being a little noisy under light braking, in addition to generating a bit of dust.

Probably best changing out to an aftermarket brake pad. Question is which will provide comparable performance without the noise?

Interesting. Mine just started squealing this week. How long do pads normally last on these cars? Mine has 25k on it.
