I have access to some 2000 A6 brake calipers from a 2.7, I think they are the same as a b5 s4 but not sure. I was wondering if they would work on an A4 and what size rotors would they be used with?

This is the infamous HP2 caliper, which is found on the B5 S4 2.7T, C5 A6 2.7T, and C5 A6 4.2L V8(although V8 rotors are a bit different offset-wise).

The size of the stock 2.7T/V8 rotor is 321x30mm (12.6x1.2").

Some of the B6 A4 crowd have decided to retrofit the front HP2 setup onto their vehicles. We, nor STaSIS, have done any engineering to support this so we can't comment on the benefits/drawbacks.
