What is a fair price

I recently totaled my 2005 3.2L Quattro A4 in a snowstorm and I'm looking to replace it. I found a 2005 A6 premium plus online with 84,500 miles. The interior is in great shape but who knows how the previous owners maintained under the hood. What would you say is a fair price for the aforementioned car?

I looked at some in that year and close to the same mileage. The lot's had them from 8-10k. I would say private party would be around 7-8kl
